We live in a world, thanks to modern day technology and social media platforms, where we are constantly exposed to sermons, messages, conferences, and events. Great content is always at our fingertips. And yet sometimes in the midst of hearing from so many beneficial resources, we struggle to hear from the Holy Spirit in our own everyday lives. If we are not careful, we can settle for a second hand experience of someone else’s encounter with Jesus instead of being personally transformed by the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in our own lives. And when it comes to communicating and preaching God’s Word, we can subtly begin to copycat someone else’s anointing instead of walking in our own. Here, Nicole offers insight on how to study and share our faith and God’s Word passionately and authentically. Whether you are a preacher, a teacher, a writer, or a follower of Jesus with a desire to be transformed by the truth found in the Bible, this video blog will encourage and equip you!

February 26, 2016 at 10:40 amThis is great advise. Each of us needs to remember that we are to take His word and become fisher of men. Often that isn’t on a grand scale, as you spoke of, but on a one on one basis in our daily walk. I am the worst of the worst sinners but it gives me the opportunity to connect and not condem; to let His grace flow through me and not to me. Thanks Nicole – keep up His good work in you.

February 28, 2016 at 5:49 pmAmen, Sister! Well spoken, I sometimes find my days like this, I read the Bible, pray, read devotions and do not remember much of what I read. A reminder that no matter what we do we always need to spend quality time with God.
