Real Questions, Real Answers: Pursuing the Call of God on Your Life

The first video in a brand new new series, “Real Questions, Real Answers” Nicole tackles this question:

“I have been praying for clarity and direction in my life. I know I want to one day become a women ministry leader, but my desire is to encourage and inspire the mass through speaking and writing books. I am currently in Gainesville Fl on a mission team.  I am 25 years old and was wondering if you can give me some direction on what route you would take if you were me?”

-C. from Gainesville, Florida

Regardless of whether or not you feel called to full time ministry, this video will offer you insight and inspiration to pursue the plans God has for your life- regardless of your age, gender, or experience!

***Special note from Nicole:  When answering this question, I pulled from my experience and from wisdom from God’s Word.  Though most of the thoughts covered in this video were for anyone saying ‘yes’ to God’s plans for their lives, I specifically address the temptation to self-promote when in full-time ministry.  That is specifically geared for those with a desire to preach and/or lead in the body of Christ.  For those listening building a business or establishing a non-profit, marketing is of course an important avenue for success.  And my prayer, is that as you develop marketing and branding strategies, that you allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.

This was such a blessing! Thank you so much! In a time where there is so much stress in my life about getting into a certain college and being good enough it is such a relief to be reminded that God already knows exactly where I’m supposed to go and exactly how it will be paid for, no need for all the stress 🙂

Very encouraging advice both practical and full of wisdom! Beginning to pay more attention to who I’m becoming not just where I’m headed. Love that! Bless you Nicole.

Such a great timely word for me!! Love how you said be more concerned about what you’re becoming then where your going!! So good!! That he knows where we are going and just need to trust him! Also loved what you said about self promoting and how if you’re trying to open opportunities up and substain them then you going to have to try and keep that up. If he’s opening the doors you know your covered and he will equip you. When you serving others and you know God’s called you there it never feels like a sacrifice, you feel full of joy and you know that is God!
